Marco Sollini, an Italian pianist who studied under maestros Scala, Oppitz, Gelber and Weissenberg, in 1985 was awarded 1st prize in the Imola “from Bach to Bartok” competition.
He has performed extensively in important concerts in Italy organized by institutions such as Serate Musicali and La Società dei Concerti of Milan, Accademia Filarmonica of Bologna, Istituzione Universitaria dei Concerti of Rome, Società del Quartetto of Bergamo, Amici della Musica of Caltanisetta, Associazione Etnea of Catania, Società dei Concerti of Ravello, Amici della Musica of Cagliari, Società Veneziana dei Concerti, Pergolesi Festival of Jesi, Settembre Musica Festival of Turin, Camerata Musicale Barese, Mare Musica Festival of Ischia, Filarmonica Laudamo of Messina, U. Giordano Festival of Baveno, Festival del Gargano, Amici della Musica of Ancona, Festivo Festival of Tigullio, etc. Outside Italy, he has performed in Spain, Hungary, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Poland, Norway, Sweden, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tunisia, United States, Mexico, Turkey, Denmark, Germany, Portugal, Serbia and Luxenbourg.
Salvatore Barbatano is a young calabrian pianist who studied with Prof. Loredana Brigandi at the Conservatorium “F. Cilea” in Reggio Calabria. He was graduated from the Conservatorium Musica “S.Cecilia” in Rome with outstanding mark. After receiving his diploma he frequented an annually piano workshop that held by Maestro Vincenzo Balzani at the Hipponiana Academy in Reggio Calabria. He participated to various Course of Pianistico Improvement since he was young (Association Paul Renosto - Fiuggi, in the ' 91; Friends of Music - Palms, in the ' 92; Association of “La Note Azzura” - Grottaferrata, in the ' 94; Association Music Reservata - Padula, in 2002) and at the Chamber music (Master Class with the M° David Weber in the ' 99 to Reggio Calabria) where he always performed solo at the closing concerts.
