Born in 1965,Massimo Quarta began his musical studies at age of nine and graduated Summa Cum Laude and Honourable Mention from the "St.Cecilia" Conservatory in Rome as a student of Beatrice Antonioni. He subsequently studied with Salvatore Accardo, Pavel Vernikov, Ruggiero Ricci and Abram Stern.

Winner of the most important Italian violin competitions ("Cittŕ di Vittorio Veneto 1986 - Concorso "Opera Prima Philips" 1989), in 1991 he won the first prize in the prestigious "Nicoló Paganini International Violin Competition" in Genoa (Italy).

Luciano Bellini is mainly a composer and orchestra director and he plays piano as well with his son Luca (flutist). He composed and directed in 1998 an opera for the Accademia Nazionale di S. Cecilia and participated in many festivals in Europe. In the "Festival dei Due Mondi" in Spoleto (Italy), his opera "Canto General was broadcasted by Italian television. Two years ago he directed the National Orchestra of Vietnam in Hanoi in occasion of the Italian National Day.

Luca Bellini, born in 1980 is one of the best young flute players in Italy and between 2001 and 2003 he won many prizes in the International competitions held in Italy ( Ravenna, Brindisi and Ortona).

"Roberto Magris Quartetto" Concert

Roberto Magris -QUARTET -QUINTET -SEXTET, a classic group of the Italian contemporary jazz scene featuring Ettore Martin on tenorsax, Roberto Magris on piano, Danilo Gallo on bass and Enzo Carpentieri on drums. In 2003 the group performed in Argentina, Uruguay, Per・ Australia and Uzbekistan. Since 1987, the first edition of the band - feat. Marco Castelli on saxes, Luigi Rossi on bass and Davide Ragazzoni on drums - performed concerts in many European countries, also participating to several international jazz festivals. The Roberto Magris 4tet/ 5tet/ 6tet/ has featured, along the years, some renowned musicians from the international jazz scene such as Florian Brambock, Rudi Engel, Jeff Wohlgenannt, Jorg Drewing, Albrecht Riermeyer, Rudi Mahall, Achim Goettert-Zadek, Martin Klingeberg, Ofer Israeli, Larry Smith, Frantisek Uhlir, Manolo Diaz, Andreas Schneider, Roman Seehon, Jorge Roeder, Hugo Alcazar, Federico Righi, Rafael Ugo, Jeronimo Carmona, Diego Luteral, Rob Severini a.o.. The Roberto Magris 4tet/ 5tet/ 6tet has recorded 3 Cds: "Israsextet Life in Israel" (Jazzis 1990 ・recorded in Israel), "The D.I. Project: Music of Today" (Splasch 1991 ・recorded in Germany) and "Maliblues" (MAP 1994), which is a quoted album in some selected discographies about Italian jazz; the band is also featured in "Live al Vapore" (Srazz 1995) and in the enclosed Cd in the book "Trieste e il Jazz" (Ed. Fenice 2002).

Parsifal is the one who travels in search of a quality that cannot be found along the well-known streets. Parsifal travels in search of what the others have already forgotten……True passion for the search of the quality and the interest for rediscovery of works and composers unjustly forgotten, such as Xaver and Philip Scharwenka, Clara Wieck, Fanny Mendelssohn, are the things that unite the members of the Nuovo Trio Parsifal, Barbara Castelli, violin, Laura Pierazzuoli, violoncello and Anna Paola Milea, piano.

"ACTIS BAND" Concert


"Actis Band"

A wild band. The Italian answer to the New York downtown scene. Combining avant-garde solos and upbeat funky rock. Tearing the hide of the ball and covering wide ground. The players manage to weave a surprisingly tight patchwork of contrasting traditions. Thick, fat-bottomed electric bass, trip-hammer drums and frenetic reeds all blend on aggressive guitar.

"CHRISTIAN LEOTTA" Concert

Christian Leotta was born in Catania (Italy) where he began his piano studies at the age of 8. He completed his studies at the Conservatorio "Verdi" of Milan with Mario Patuzzi and  in 1996 at the age of 17 was conferred the "Diploma Summa cum Laude". In 1997 he won the 48th "Viotti" International Piano Competition" (dedicated to works by Beethoven and Brahms) in Vercelli, Italy, winning also the prize conferred by the public. He regularly plays, as soloist and with orchestra, in Italy, Europe, Americas and Asia.

Tiziana Scandaletti and Riccardo Piacentini  DUO ALTERNO  was born in Turin (Italy). Through concerts and master classes they seek to propagate their vocal-piano repertoire ranging from early twentieth century  to modern composers, in particular Italian music. Several composers (including Giacomo Manzoni and Ennio Morricone) have written pieces for soprano Tiziana Scandaletti and for composer-pianist Riccardo Piacentini, both of whom teach in Italian Conservatories (Vocal chamber music and Composition).  They graduated with top marks in History of Music in addition to their respective fields of performance.

Anna Maria Castelli and Gianni Coscia will start their artistic project very original and refined. Both, make up their mind “to put togheter” all their various musical experiences on “the unlimited jazz music” (in the last years they were among the most estimated performers  in Europe). From this get out an exceptional Concert for its intensity and performing of two Artists  who would have a new chance to show their ability.
